Bayside, Wisconsin

Bayside, Wisconsin is located in the northeastern corner of Milwaukee County. It is just north of Fox Point, east of River Hills and south of Mequon. Its eastern border is Lake Michigan. Bayside has a similar personality to Fox Point. Its streets and lots are arranged in a traditionally suburban manner. Many of the lots on which the homes sit are comparatively larger in relation to many other communities in Milwaukee County. Bayside is a very nice community that is only 12 minutes from downtown Milwaukee via I-43.

Much of the real estate in Bayside was developed after 1950 and offers quite a selection. Higher-end executive homes in private neighborhoods are plentiful as well as more modest homes in charming suburban settings. Prices of homes in Bayside are primarily anywhere between $150,000 to $2 million. Most of the housing stock is single family homes although there are a few multi-unit complexes.

Bayside, WI has a lot of green spaces which give it a lot of natural beauty. A nice feature in the area is the Schlitz Audubon Center which provides a number of educational opportunities for children and adults. It also provides an environment for people to take great natural walks. The Village has a few parks and is Bordered by Doctor's Park in Fox Point which offers a public beach as well as large area for children to play. The US Census Bureau calculated the population of Bayside, Wisconsin to be 4,518 in 2000.
